Nocellara is characterized by its large size. It has a rounded shape and is green or black. The green type, when it matures, becomes vinous red. It has a slightly acidic smell, has a rich strong and sweet taste at the same time. Consume as a tasty aperitif. Also excellent combined with cheeses.
